    The Doals Centre on Burnley Rd hosts Christmas markets, Easter fairs, Fusion Dance, yoga, kids activities in school hols etc.
    A Christmas Carol concert is help in the park most years.
    You can get delivery of fresh, free range chicken and duck eggs or collect from at least 3 places within Weir.

    Within a few minutes walk from the front door, you are on open moorland with views reaching as far as the Three Peaks and Pendle Hill.     Weir has its own riding school. I believe there`s also stabling available nearby.

    You`re only a few miles from many motorways so commuting is easier than people think. You have rural living with the convenience of easily reaching most large towns & cities.

    M65 is 6.5 miles away. Easy to reach the M6 from there.
    A56/M66 is 8.5 miles away.
    M62 is 12 miles.

    The train station in Burnley is 6 miles away.

    Usual schools, doctors, vets etc in Bacup.

    Bacup Royal Court Theatre seems to have regular shows, music and film showings.

    There`s butchers, a polish shop, cafes, bars, market etc in Bacup. There`s a Morrisons and a new Aldi is in the process of being built. Loads more shopping & eating in Rawtenstall, Crawshawbooth & Burnley.
